Earth abides. Post virus-apocalypse.

It's OK, but it randomly jumps years, yet nobody actually ages. The main dude starts as an early 20s fella, the show moves on 20 years, but he is still an early 20s fella, everyone he meets, just appears out of nowhere, at the start of each episode, and they stop ageing too.

Lazy production.

I'm very much enjoying the new Daredevil. Just finished EP4.

I don't know what I'll feel when I get to the end, I think it's going to end up mildly disappointing - but right now it's feeling like that because it could be *really* good :)

Just finished Severance Season 2.

This was fucking excellent. I advise everyone who isn't already on this train that this is well worth your time.

The Last of Us season 2 on Monday.

And this looks good...

FFS, thought I would go do some research on Murderbot to see when it airs and I stumbled across this on imdb, like wtf?? Is this a new trend?

It's an amazing show and thankfully season 3 is already in preproduction. Although at the end of season 2 I was presuming that would be it - the ending would have worked as a finale.

I was hoping that would be it. There's no need for any more. It was perfect to end there.

I haven't played The Last of Us Part II yet (it's installed but it apparently needs some fixes for optimisation and anyway, I thought I'd watch the second season of the show first), episode 2 of the second season:
Jesus Fucking Christ.

Totally in shock that they actually killed Joel. I thought it was going downhill after he got kneecapped ("ok so I guess he'll be on crutches for the forseeable..."), then she attacked him with the golf club, then Ellie arrived and I thought she'd save the day, then Ellie got subdued and I thought Jesse would burst in but no... the mad Firefly bitch (who let's face it, was full of totally justifiable rage) just fucking killed him.

That's not even mentioning the attack on Jackson Hole, which was awesome. The fucking things are so quick, that's what sets them apart from anything else (maybe not 28 Days Later and its sequels).

But, Jesus Fucking Christ.

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST

I think we can all agree.

I've never watched the films (I'll get round to it one day) and I only watched season 1 of Andor because I was promised there were only fleeting references to Star Wars in it. I really enjoyed it.

Currently running shows that I'm enjoying:

I still can't believe it, it reminds me how I felt after Glenn's demise in The Walking Dead. That one was slightly different though because, if I remember correctly, we knew in the days leading up to it that they were going to kill one of the main cast, we just didn't know who. Joel dying absolutely caught me off guard.

Andor Season 2 arrived. God I love this show, but it's a slow burn again, at least first 2 episodes are just setup.

It was in the game, and just as much of a surprise, though the scene played out slightly differently. I am not sure about the casting, Abbie was butch in the game, she grew on me though. The casting of Dina is spot on.
