Most new television is absolute drivel at present. The only thing that has my attention is "Rome Wasn't Built in a Day" on Channel Four. Loving the re-creation of Roman building techniques and the reality TV angle of watching how the builders get on with each other and how they struggle with the physical workload is excellent.

Watched first ep of Outcasts (Beeb sci fi thing). Not exactly outstanding.

I'm always amazed when a Beeb show has spaceships which aren't hanging by clearly visible wires. CGI has killed one of the staples of Beeb sci fi.
