finding it increasingly hard to keep track of all the threads i post in and the "new posts" search function just doesn't cut it

you can subscribe to threads of interest. your usercp will let you see them iirc.

heh in that case I have no idea. I just click the new replies thingy and get everything

Search for posts by your username and opt to display them as Threads rather than posts. That should do what you ask.
