I just ordered a £1200 Alienware for £900. I know people don't like them but I don't have room for a pc and desk and the like. And for the money it's a nice spec plus not much out there compares.

they look sleek but it says sportsband so i assume they are designed for runners? they grip ok?

Yep, tried them out on the treadmill for a few 10k runs. Still using my beats earbuds for bike rides. The only minor critism I have is that the ear foam covers get a bit wet, Have to wash em out and dry them carefully. I get a hot head and sweaty hair when I run. Still, 6 spares did come in the package so they should last me a while.

Wazzer, I did spot the sarcasm but just ignored it.

They are not bad laptops just overpriced for the hardware inside. Sounds like you got a good deal though :)

Yeah I get that. They are ugly too but for the money I could not find a better machine. I will consider any brand but it's got to be a 14' screen.

My laptop has shown up and it is very nice. One thing though is with my Arsenal color scheme (red keyboard white grills) the green of the Freddyshouse page looks fucking rotten :) It clashes bad.

Any issues with use in terms of power supplies? Or was it just grab a power-adapter and go? - How about import costs?

PSU works fine 100-220v. what import duties buy a laptop bag and hand carry it through green.

Aye, I need the extra space and the colour accuracy for my photography - this is one of the best. Been struggling with my cheaper panel that dithers.
