mouse lag??

well in my quest to find other games to play other than the same q2 maps over and over again I come to Unreal Tournament!
only thing,the mouse always feels like its slower than i am ,despite turning the speed up a lot.am i doing something wrong anyone?
i got a p3 1gig processor with a gf2 mx and 128 ram so i dont think its the comp,anyway its not a problem on q2/q3 or c.s.
Does anyone have any ideas please ??

Have you set your mouse speed in preferences / input ?

try turning vsync on/off or directinput. there are some problems with mouse-lag in d3d.

no difference vsync on or off, ill check preferences in a min but ithink so...

i take it u mean g.u.i mouse speed? i got that turned up so that when i come out of the game it flies along! however in game exactly the same...

I believe the 'ingame' speed is related to your 'outgame' speed if you follow me try setting your mouse-sensitivity reeeeeel high.

yeah this is like, as high as it'l go but still no change...
as i say when i come out of game to the options menu the mouse is so fast its difficult to control!

Mouse GUI speed and Mouse-sensitivity are two different settings in UT. Check around for the other one
