Minor necro LoS fix

Dunno if anyone else has noticed this. Pull a mob and have it go behind a wall or something that obstructs los on its way to you (because of the uber pathing in the game). In 1.60 you could queue a spell when they were behind the wall and the pet would cast it, then at the end of the cast you would get

'Your controlled creature cannot see its target'

whether it was behind the wall still or not .. it was there when you queued the spell.

Now you get

'You cannot see the target'

when you try and queue the spell.

Has thrown me completly of guard as im basically losing a spell in the spell queue and the first thing i notice is the pet storming off to attack the mob as its not got anything to cast :rolleyes:

Gonna have to start reading that top window now :(

What about setting pet on passive->nuke till mob's in melee range->set pet on defensive?

It's annoying, but that's what I did with my baby necro at camps where mobs went out of range sometimes after the first nuke...
Causes the same problem :/

Anyway, nerf necros :)

easy: they wont, its too fucking hard for them to program it right, so they leave it this way or people MAY find a exploit so they can exp 10% faster cuz of it.
Their patches are full of bugs and everything is untested, they cant seem to do anything right, mythics are the biggest game-amateurs i have ever seen

even now empty mind is still bugged, and for how long have RA's been in the game?

I believe SI was patch 1.57? Thats 7 patchs later they mention fixing some of the necro bugs that have been documented since SI release. And they havnt even fixed them yet :( Necro's have had 2 TL's just give up and quit because they feel no matter whats said nothing gets done :/

Nice that this is fixed.. Shame that about a third of the times I walk through a milegate, my pet just runs off up the nearest hill without responding to any pet commands and self destructs :((( Had it happen whilst walking along zone walls to in emain and I can't even follow my pet to keep in distance until it pathfinds it way back to me..

I guess necros are "working as intended", just like bonedancers :)
