The gameplay trailer doesn't look great.
The cars in mafia 1/2 handled like cars from those eras should ( largely like boats ).

This looked like some crazy taxi levels of stupid.

Going to be hard to top GTA overall but I do have to say that Mafia 2 had a more immersive storyline than the GTA games.

Pretty hyped for Mafia 3, wasn't super keen on the first one but the 2nd one was amazing... I replay it even to this day.

I preferred the first one to GTA3 (certainly the story, atmosphere and gameplay) but the second one was a hollowed-out husk of the game it should've been.

loved the first one except that race omfg one of the most infuriating sections of gaming ever experienced. any slight mishap and you may as well reload. i enjoyed 2 but didnt feel like it was going anywhere and loved how they tied it in with the first one it was like a proper OMFG moment. really cant wait for the 3rd one i just hope it lives up to the hype

It's the PC version that has the fps lock. If true (and it appears to be true, certainly at the moment) and it can't be disabled they can absolutely fuck off.

Meh. What with the 30fps lock (a "solid 30 fps"... what in the living fuck is a phrase like "solid 30 fps" doing being uttered about a PC game in 2016...?) and shoddy ultrawide support they've done nothing to suggest that this isn't just a shit, rushed console port and there's not a chance in hell I'll pay full price for that.

Yes there's a patch coming with 30, 60 and unlimited fps and "other" fixes for the PC version but they've lost a lot of potential players with this console-esque bullshit at the launch. Put the launch back a week but whatever you do don't release a half-arsed, low quality product that needs patches before it's even playable.

That's quite fake... I have an R9 280X 3GB by Sapphire, aftermarket cooler, no OC. My fps rate in Mafia 3 is a LOT higher than that. Yes, on VHQ.
