Is that a haikerick? (cross between a haiku and a limerick) As you seem to be slightly confused old fella.

A limerick is a poem of 5 lines, where lines 1, 2 and 5 rhyme with each other, as do lines 3 and 4. There is no set sylable (sp?) length for the individual lines.

A Haiku on the other hand, has 3 lines, lines 1 and 3 have 5 syllabuls (sp again?) and line 2 has 7 syllables (god i'm having problems spelling this bugger)

I was wondering the same thing. Can't find any literature that says Limericks have a set sillybull limit to them.

Then again, I didn't look very hard.

5 lines of verse with the rhyme scheme AABBA.
