certainly does, thanks! one thing i was wondering, was how do you play dragons? do they go by the same lvl set as normal races? i cant imagine a paladin dragon tbh :p or do they have a totally different skill set?

also, do you know of a decent website atall?

cheers
Don't know of any great informative websites yet.

Dragons have their own adventuring and trade schools, and their own advanced schools also so no you can't be a dragon paladin. However if you level up high enough in dragon warrior and dragon cleric then you'll pretty much be there except of course when in warrior school you won't be able to resurrect or use various dragon cleric abilities and vice versa if you decide cleric will be your main class. I remember there is a dragon druid school.

Lots of people will want to be dragons just because.. well.. they're dragons. But they have less classes available to them and aren't able to wear jewellery or weild weapons so overall at higher levels they may not be as powerful as people who can use magical items with nice bonuses.

yea.. i want to be a dragon just coz they are simply so dam cool. are you allowed multiple characters yes? if you are thats fine, dragon as my main and i'll have a biped char as my alt.. i just wanna be able to fly :D plus i love the idea of your character actually growing in size the more powerful he becomes (dragons that is).. and i know you cant wear jewelry or anything, BUT the creation for dragon is alot more diverse than any other class.. from the character creation movie i've seen anyway.

Not sure about the multiple characters as I won't have the money to get the released version until the end of January after I get over Christmas debts and things. I'll guess you will be able to have more than one though.

I did have a dragon for a while in beta and they were good :) especially as you have no weapons so switching to mage school after being a warrior was easy, I would ignore casting spells and still just go around meleeing the monsters. Other races will have to put away their swords and swing staves at them ;)

Have to say the most frustrating thing about the game was the timers on heal spells though. Clerics/Healers are pretty much ineffective until they get to level 12+ and can buy several different healing spells. Before then they have crap small heals with 30 seconds timers on them and stuff :(

sounds good.. i've watched all the trailers from the official site now, and it looks amazing. the graphics arent amazing but they're easily as good as daocs, if not better.. the spell effects look dam cool from what i've seen aswell. all in all im looking forward to getting it.

btw, how do you grow as a dragon, and become tougher? i heard something about having to hoard treasure to become powerful, or is that just bollocks and you have to lvl like anyone else? i mean it says u arent able to fly until your an older dragon, i just wanna know HOW you become an older dragon.. by lvling as normal? or some other way?

A combination of level and hoard I'm guessing, but as it wasn't implemented in beta and all dragons were limited to hatchlings I can't guarantee.

got horizons today! i gotta say i love it.. havnt played alot, an hour or so.. but im enjoying every minute of my dragon :D dam good fun. the only thing im not keen on is the whole log in proceedure.. it seems.. almost temporary.. does anyone know if its gonna be sorted out? or is it staying as it is? and by as it is.. i mean just a website where u type ur username/login and then start playing the game. i'd much prefer some kind of in game login. also they've dealt with the whole european sign up thing awefully, when you go to play the game ur automatically taken to the US site, and not until you've filled in all the details are you told to head over to the european site to do it 'all' again. but nm, the games good so im happy.

/edit, btw.. does anyone actually know if theres a specifically english server out of the 3 european servers? the only people i've seen on my current server (earth) are german.. so im hoping i havnt gone onto a mainly german server :/ or are they all just populated with a variety of people?

No probs.

You know I'm always here if you need that reassurance that you truly disgust me.
