Anyway, my brother in law is getting this so will have a bash round there, don't have an xbox so wont ever buy it, though isn't borrowing/playing on someone elses version just as bad as piracy? I will be playing it without paying for it after all! Probably through to completion if the average length of a shooter is to go by these days.

Ok,

After a good session last night I like this release better than the previous Halo games. There are some nice touches like earning credits as you play so you can then go spend them in the armoury changing how you look etc (similar to the CoD games).

The campaign story is really good (not sure how far I am through) and I like the music which can get quite dark and tense at times. The cutscenes are great. Also you can now have fireteams (not made up of Spartans, but ODST, Militia etc).

Tonight I will go online and see how it plays and earn my credits faster.

Is the soundtrack from Deliver Hope trailer in the game? i have no idea what its actually called but its in the trailer where one of the noble team fly up to the ship and throws the nuke in.

Absolutely love that trailer the music just makes it.

Just watched the gametrailers review. Looks like the focus is on multiplayer and the campaign isn't anything special. Ah well, I'll wait for a second hand copy at 4 quid like I did with Halo 3 .

Prices of games come down so fast these days wouldn't suprise me if it was 20-25 in a month or so.

Wish i could go to the midnight launch tonight but if i did that there would be no point in going to bed seeing as im up at 4am for work lol.

Wednesday off though so not too bad.
