Games Halo: Reach

ODST is based around Orbital Drop Shop Troopers. In the game you play the role of 4 (I think) characters who were dropped onto a Covenant ship that jumped to hyperspace after infiltrating New Mombasa on Earth. It's very different from the Halo series and I firmly believe it was just a filler game.

It was fun, but very short. I mostly enjoyed the voice acting the guys who played Mal and Jane in Firefly.

I quite like Halo and will certainly give Reach a play when back home.

The first one was an ok fps, nothing really ground breaking and no replay value. The next two were dire and I doubt this one will be any different. Though having not played it I have no idea.

Having just played the first few missions I must say that I am seriously enjoying the game, the graphics engine has been improved quite a bit over the previous Halo's. The cutscenes are very good, the atmosphere is ace. The AI has been improved, one of the Covenant jumped onto the back of the Warthog I had abandoned and started firing at us with the chaingun

Cannot wait to try online multiplayer Monday night, oh, such a long wait

This sums up exaclty how I feel about Halo, there's nothing especially bad about it, it's just deeply "meh".

Oh sorry, the level design is shit. They come up with a half decent level, then just repeat it ad nauseum for 10 chapters? But then I guess I'm not allowed an opinion on Halo having a Piss3 and all that.

Ah well nm, Killzone 3 is out next year! I shall have to content myself with that. 0wned j00 lamer etc.

To be fair I have posed numerous times that I work at a very public high street Game retailer. Just not in this thread but elsewhere I have stated where I work etc.
