Goa's License Limitation, Uk Cluster and whatnot

So the long story short ("confirmed") is that they can't cluster diff Languages Servers (or they can't be arsed ) and that Mythic License (rumor) force em to leave at least one English speaking Server.
That said my guess is that Mythic would understand a move by Goa to "save" a part of the playerbase.
Why not putting up a poll in Camelot.eu home page to understand the willings of the Uk playerbase?
If we want to cluster and trash english translations (ala Glastonbury), let the majority have what it wants.

English speaking players: Yes

For French and German players the poll would be:
Would you like a bunch on english speaking players dumped on your perfectly healthy server?
French speaking players: Non
German speaking players: Nein

Of course maybe GOA should do this poll just so they can then say they are listening to the playerbase but I doubt it would make the FH trolls any happier. Maybe they could turn Dyvet Italian, I am sure that would be popular too.

tbh... goa cant make any decisions atm
we do know that once ages ago both servers had like 5000 players on prime time?
was it about 2500-3000 when they got clustered?
so if they make a poll for the 100 accounts still on dyvet, would they have some kind of results they could use?
most ppl still playin dyvet, stay cause they have trouble w the language on other servers
will goa send email to ppl who dont play any more to ask them about a decision that will involve others?
if they actually cluster dyvet w any other server/cluster, what would be the impact of it to the healthy one?
there r many germans who whine about strong realms gettin stronger and that goa made a poor choice of servers to cluster , causin pollulation imbalances

and yes, atm its just forumtrolls whinin till goa flips a doubleedged knife
but i am curious what some here expect to happen if there is a 5-6 server cluster.
its not like the us... the german servers r very healthy n zergy at prime time.
in the us , ppl say it has a steady low poppulation at all times. by clusterin them they brought more ppl together since mythic doesnt expect any more growth. ( thats the reason eu classic clustered)
but if dyvet is clustered w germans or french server, some ppl expect hundrets to renew...
so do u want the hundreds of albs to infest more server?

imo the best solution would b to allow dyvet players, who wish to play in a different cluster a couple of new char lvl50 at the rr of the ones they already have to a realm, which is underpoppulated
n all this for a certain fee n it would b a big favor, unless u think goa runs a free shard

All the Germans I've grouped with have a better grasp of English than some of the English players I've grouped with. Some of them have a pretty wicked sense of humour too. Though you do have to explain some colloquialism's to them (stop being a gay twat for example - though not directed at the German player tbh).

Also they've seemed to struggle at playing the regular NFD game of '#random woman# - yes or no?'. They also seem to worship Jamie Oliver (though I like him I don't believe him to be the be all & end all of culinary excellence).

Every day u go into rvr atleast i did on both rm and thane got insta invite.Fair enough zerg zurfing can be fun but to join a rr10+ group to just stick the 5 other rr11-12+ groups to run in agramon i dont find funny Unless u plan to afk alot and get rp pled

Why would I be bitter? I had one character on Dyvet who is rr8. I saw what was going to happen on Dyvet ages ago and re-rolled Limors. I have 3 chars there with over 8 million rp between them, I am perfectly happy with what I have.

My point still stands. There is no need to cluster any of the French of German clusters again at the moment because the population is fine, if you did a poll players there wouldn't want to cluster with anyone at the moment. Even when the population drops on those servers in general they would prefer to play with people who speak their own language. Most Germans I have met are happy to play and help out English speaking players but there are a significant number that would rather not because its a German server and they don't speak English.

Ofcourse people in the rvr-scene first take people they know for a longer period. Remember this game is 5 year-old. The community tends to get rather tight-knit. Take a look at these boards and you will see. Most of the times the replies in posts contain puns concerning the other people in the thread.

In fact its the complete opposite, totally different to Dyvet. The Germans are very friendly, and its very easy to find a group. Just join the relavent BG & spam that your LFG and you get a group quite easily. I was the 2nd druid along with the highest rank char on the server ( or there abouts) that druid beginning with D, forge this name. Shit, as a L43 myself and Perfect Recovery ( L40s too) were invited night after night by 2 L50 animists, was rr4 by the time i hit 50 !

The Germans given the option of having an extra few hundred ppl from Dyvet would, I pretty damn sure give a resounding YES.

The poll i meant was for the English speaking playerbase, pretty much what Mythic done for the Japanese Server. Afaik it was a poll held in the Jap playerbase on the line of "we either leave it as it is or we cluster you with an english speaking server" and they chose the clustering option with the language change.

I remember nothing but helpful people when i poked my head in on a German server, though I didn't speak a word of German they were more than happy to try to speak to me in English.
