The first GI LAN was a great success, so we're doing it again. Same place, same ultra fast network (Star Trek Elite Force pings of ZERO anyone?), same four rooms, same two bathrooms with showers, and the same vast proliferation of fun!
Pictures of GI LAN 1 can be found at http://www.gamesinferno.com/lans/gilan1/
This will be the second of many Manchester LAN parties brought to you by Games Inferno! Powered by our own switched 100Meg network (which we put to the test at the 450 player i2 lan), held in the Bower Hotel in Oldham, and attended by the l33test players in the country, this LAN is gonna rock!
When? The LAN will take place on Friday 29th June, Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st of July 2001. The GI team will be there early on Friday, so turn up early to claim your seats!
Where? The Bower Hotel is situated in Oldham which is in North Manchester. The proposed M60 motorway shown on the map is now open, and offers very easy access to the Bower Hotel. Just follow the signs to Oldham or Chadderton and you won't go far wrong.
What else is there? There is a Morrisons supermarket 1 minute walk round the corner from the Bower (they do a very nice breakfast for about £3). The Bower will be providing beverages and food from their bar again (chip butty's for about £1.70, sandwiches etc).
How much?
One day = £15
Two days = £25
All three days = £35
Spectator = £5 per day
