I'm a couple hours down and the only thing I learned besides that this game is awesome is that I suck at it :D

There is a brutal sense of humor too: I just got blown up by complete happenstance. Then my body fell down a shaft all the way to the entrance to the recuperation bit. Right next to that was a 125% health thingy that had somehow fallen all the way down like my corpse did

Okay so I got a perk that made worms love me. in Noita, worms are not your friends. After scraping through a level (with minimal finds and maximum risk) as I got sniped by a shotgun yielding maniac with anti-gravity boots riiiiight at the start of the level, I finally reached the safety of the temple. In the temple I let out a long sigh, topped up my health, and then proceeded to somehow attract not one but TWO blue worms

A worm one-shotted me immediately, and then ate and/or had sex with my twitching corpse. Then both worms trashed the temple as they can go through rock like its butter anyway, causing me to get the "you have angered the gods" thing despite being, well, dead, you know. Said corpse then was nudged into a hole the worms had made, fell INTO the next level, and I got to watch the worms destroy most of it as the background simulation was still running and I hadn't quit the game. It was a huge fight. Worms are hella OP man.

Aaaaand since this game is absolutely wicked in its humor, on my very next and current run, the first perk I got was that worms fear me, and now I'm also impervious to fire. You'd think that would help. I'm fairly sure it won't :(

There's soooo many hints I want to give you. But just keep exploring. If you see a space think "how do I get there"...

...can/worms.

Went to fourteen different places @TdC. Including the sand caves. And, amazingly - I found an actual edge to the map (I think - cursed rock - I touched it and it killed me).

I had a wand that blew blue balls that ate through anything - brick, the red rock - as if it was fire through snow. Had about 400 health. Found a load of musical notes.

Didn't even make it into the sky, which was my actual objective. I kept finding shit.

Plays 782. Wins: 2*.

*for a certain value of win.

Pretty sure the majority will already have it but

Half-Life 2 is currently 100% free on Steam as part of the Half-Life anniversary, you can also pickup HL1 / Opposing Force and Blue shift for under £1 each.

The free HL2 offer lasts until the 18th of November.

Still worth playing. Once you get used to the drifty feeling controls you realise it's still fucking best in class.
