Friend of mine got this winXP error message.

he installed the latest nvidia drivers, without un-installing the old ones... he just needs to un-install the driver, then re-install it, and it should work.

EDIT: btw, was the a ask for help kinda thread, cause just re-read ya post and its a bit vague ;D

hehe, had that error too. Catastrophic sounds a bit end of the world ish, but would anyone still take M$ seriously if the error said : mildly annoying error ?

You think thats bad, my secure login screen in work which also handles all passwords and auto logins, suddenly one morning had a name written in the Java box.

It isn't in a field just hanging there in the grey area of the box, the REALLY weird thing......

It's the name of my level 50 char on DAOC, I kid you not
