Can someone explain to me why when I tried to watch Leon last night I couldn't hear any speech using the headphones, but sound effects and music were perfectly fine? I unplugged the headphones and turned the volume on the DVD player up and it was fine. Is this something to do with the soundtrack, and is there anyway I can get around it? I have to use headphones at night.

5.1 I presume. The DVD only had the one audio soundtrack.

Change the internal menu setting to pro-logic, then it should be fine. BTW get the director's cut while you're at it, its very good. You can get it from Japanese sites (jap subtitles)
