That's something that bugs me about the matrix. A deja vu is not seeing something twice. It's having a strong feeling you've seen/done something before. It's not like you'll see a cat and then another. Bloody stupid wachowski bros.

I guess you *could* say "Deja Vu" to a cat walking by twice... just about.

Since they were running up a spiralish stairs set up at the time though, they could have seen the cat at the bottom, run up the first flight of stairs and ended up in the same place, seen the cat again and then done it... though reading that back that just sounds silly. I don't make films.
