Duel Day...?

Greetings,

I read your announcement on JK.net, about this ‘’duel day’’…sounds interesting.

So I want some more details on it, so if you could tell me how its played, what you need etc…all the necessary facts I need to know I would appreciate it.

Bt the way, how do I watch demos?

Duels Day is 32 player knockout duel tournament ran by the Barrysworld JK2 League on one night.

Duels Day 3 is in 2 weeks time (17th Dec) and is open to all. All you need is a copy of JK2 patched up to hte latest version and possibly an IRC client (if its not a requirement I still highly reccomend it for keeping in touch with admins and other and other players on the night) and for those not familar with IRC, information can be found here.

You could also visit the BWJK2L website, the Duels Day 2 details are still up which should give you a good idea of how things are structured.

Oh and demos can be played by clicking play demo in the main menu, the less obvious part is that they need to be placed in gamedata/base/demos/ in your JK2 folder, if its not there then just create it.
