Crying

Potentially opening up myself for some serious ribbing but...

Has anyone ever got emotional over certain movies? I'm not talking about when you were 7 or something and E.T flew into a tree - but as an adult.

I've got pretty stoked at scenes in some movies, which I will name if I don't get completely abused :) Anyone else care to join me and wave the sensitive male flag?

HA HA HA YUO TEH BIG GAY

hmm,

I think when jude law dragged himself in to the incinerator I was a bit upset (the first time I saw it). Second time I just felt pissed off that ethan hawke decided to fuck off knowing full well that jude would kill himself.

That sucked. :/

oh, and t2.. with the thumb :/

and "I think we'll be ok here, leon"

and where that bitch dies at the end of blade 2. (not really)

I've got upset at the following:

Schindler's List (when he gets the ring at the end, and the letter signed by all the workers -- brilliant acting)

The Sixth Sense (at the end, the first time I watched it. Don't ask me why, I think I stood on a nail at the same time)

Armaggedon (Bruce giving his "Ive always thought of you as a son to me" speech at the end, and talking to his "daughter" Liv Tyler)

Last Of The Mohicans (the bit when the son attacks the head of the tribe, gets eviscerated and his father runs and reaps his revenge)

(Note: During all of the above I may or may not have happened to burn my hand on boiling hot water and/or was kicked in the nads, thus causing me to be upset)

There, I feel all manly again now!

Never Ending Story, when the horse gets stuck in the mud and sinks, had an entire lower school class crying :)

Other than that not a lot.

Last time I cried at the TV was for some reason Ally Mcbeal  I was 'depressed' at the time and the guy had cancer or something and he was talking in court and I was laughing then he just dropped dead while I was laughing at his last joke :(

//edit

Oh and the episode when Buffys mum was found dead, upset me as well :(

BUHH!

I cried at Ally McBeal! I don't even remember what was happening but I was watching over a bird's house and started welling up, trés embarrasing until they gave me much love for it

Chasing amy : near the end at the comic book stall. The "moment" between Holden and Alyssa.

I suppose you need a personality first before you can show your emotions.

It's nice to see people can actually be frank about stuff like this without feeling the need to puff their masculinity up. Makes a refreshing change from the usual dross on the forums!

PS. I played prop forward in rugby at school.

Armageddon's ending was too cheesy and typical to get to me. Saying that, i nearly cried in Titanic.

Though that part in NES mentioned by PR. was erm...*cough* :(

Korean Films are designed to make people cry:

Il Mare - seen 3 times - cried everytime.

Lovers' Concerto - seen twice - cried twice.

I cried at the end of Being John Malkavich, I couldn't believe I had wasted so much money to watch something that bad.

Being John Malkovich takes the prize for the most screwed-up film I have ever seen.

Not a movie, but the end of Blackadder 4 is the only thing that manages to make me feel sad and upset.

The end of Forrest Gump always gets me when his missus passes away and he is sat crying.

I can't remember the last time I cried while watching something.

(but)

I am insanely susceptable to scenes in movies designed to make you jump, I leap a mile, even at those that aren't sposed to make you do that as well :/

Psychological terror doesn't affect me though, make of that what you will :\\\\\\\

Yea I loved that bit too, only redeeming bit of the film was him getting killed in a brutal fashion.
