Serious sam 1 & 2 are the best fun co-op games ever.

I loved the Rainbow 6 series. Flatmates vs computer = teh win.

Also fun was and of the Command and conquer games vs bots. Or total annihilation.

svenco-op for HL is utter genius.

Dungeon Siege can be a bit of a giggle multiplayer...specially if you got some high level friends, then you can sit twocking mega hard nasties while your friends heal you. Think i managed to get a level every minute or so.

Hmm think i might have to reinstall it and resurrect Wee Mad Arthur..

*ponder*

I can't afford to subscribe :( or buy the game.
I'm a pikey, but being a holy man maybe you'd be charitable to a jippo like me and give it to us for free?

(didn't think so)

Has anyone mentioned Operation Flashpoint? It has the best co-op mode ever, and if you join the game at 5pm on Sundays (#game.ofp quakenet) you will see for yourselves.

And the best bit is, that when you get annoyed at Will, you can shoot him. It may result in a ban, but its worth it :)

Time to reinstall OFP, I think. Two pimps in so many seconds is more than I can stand...

I love co-op games with friends. They don't work too well over the 'net cos you inevitably end up with a bunch of bastards as your teammates. But sat down on a lan with a couple of friends there's nothing better.

Blizzard games are great for co-op play. Warcraft 3 may not be as hardcore as War 2 or Starcraft but it's good fun when playing with a friend against computers. And if you get bored with killing comps you can team up and play 2v2's against angry Europeans over Bnet. Also can get creative and build your own scenarios.

I'd also like to see a co-op mod for Mechwarrior. Mechwarrior 1 was simply great for internet teamplay. Battles were extremely tactical and required lots of skill for aiming through the lag and dodging missiles. A lot of preparation was also required when kitting out your mechs. The game seemed to go downhill when Microsoft got hold of the license though. They killed the Grand Council which was a large clan ladder where you'd fight a huge skirmish with potential recruits to weed out the best players just to be able to join a clan. From there you'd fight ranking matches within the clan to rise in position. And meanwhile you'd be fighting the other clans for dominance of the ladder. It was great.

Yes Operation Flashpoint does do very good co-op. Yes the DM and TFC aspects are a fun and welcome distraction, but co-op is where it shines.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but 5pm on a Sunday evening for the GAME.NET community OFP game.

I just got carried away and accidently put a 30 second timer next to a jeep we got out of and ran away from. Only to realise we were going to an ammo cache and luap, i think, ran back to the jeep just as it blew up....

TBH I really can't be arsed to read 3 pages of this thread, but isn't Operation Flashpoint a game that can be played co-op?

BW should host a game sometime for the GAME.NET community.
