Co-Op Games

Anyone know any decent games you can play Co-Op? I get bored of kicking my housemate's ass in deathmatches.

We did things like System Shock 2, Quake 2 etc .. there must be some more out there.

Unreal is co-op, you can play delta force 2 co-op too

Just found an addon for Mechwarrior 4, but needs the upgraded version. 'Mercinaries' or something. Gutted.

Too many FPS games in this list, there is only so much 'point n shoot' a man can take!

Mercenaries is a seperate MW game using the MW4 engine its not an addon.

Also search for sven coop they did the co-op mod for HL which you can dl and will be doing it for HL2 also.

If you're not wed to the FPS, then I've played Starlancer co-op, and of course there's the Balder's Gate type things if you're the dungeoning type. I've done Ghost Recon as well which can be fun ... wide open spaces, sometimes foggy, sometimes raining, sometimes sunny , with terrorists or Georgian army bods to track down and take out. Sometimes get things like "rescue the prisoners from the camp" etc., - very easy to die though, but usually you have enough teams (padded out with bots) to have a couple of 'lives'.

Yes Ghost Recon does kick ass, I've got it for the Xbox and its great to play with a few friends

bf1942 does co-op too, although you also get a shedloads of bots on your side too. Great fun, as the bots are a smidge dopey and you can balance the sides (skill level and numbers) so great waves of clueless morons rush towards your heavily beweaponed defensive point.
Most amusing.

The bots on battlefields are nitwits.

You cna often stand in front of them for 10 seconds before they hit you.

And they are also super deadly with rockets

RTS(real time strategy) games are fun for co-op.
Age of empires/mythology are fun, for example 2 v one rock 'ard bot.

and other RTS with skirmish mode are fun.

Actually, kinda stick to desert combat wghen coop'ing with me mate, and our latest fad are the attack helicopters. I can hover, and land where I intend and only roll it over occasionally now!
With him blasting away from the front gunner slot its most amusing. Even taken to landing on buildings so he can hop out and repair.
Makes me feel almost competant at a game, which is a rarity.

Soon as i get in a chopper, i can get in the air, i then use all the focus i have to try turn around....

For the rest of the flight am in a barrel roll..
Someone teach me to fly a chopper

Its a matter of luck in my experience, try lowering the senistivty


another great Co-op game is Myth II still loads of people playing it and some of us are in orders for Example im in The Alliance.
