Nicked from the Beeb's site:

"Fijians say sorry to eaten Briton's family

The family of an English missionary who was eaten by Fijian tribes people 136 years ago are to receive an apology.
According to local media, the remote village of Navatusila of Navosa on the Fijian island of Viti Levu has invited the descendants of the late Reverend Thomas Baker to visit next month."

I wonder if they will throw a feast in their honour - just dont ask about the main course...

Actually the vicar supposedly pulled a comb out of a chiefs hair - apparently its forbidden to touch a chiefs head in Fiji so they killed and ate him - pretty harsh.

Why not just install something so it gives an electric shock that has just enough power to disable their arm for a few hours?

That's why to truly understand a country and its culture, you have to be a part of it. We never underestimate the importance of local knowledge.

What I hate about reading threads a day late is seeing all the stuff I would have put in getting the glory!

Bit too much like chicken for my taste, you need Mormons for a decent roast dinner :)
