Call of Duty - more like 'Waste of Money'

It could have been a classic but 80% of the levels are too easy and the other 20% insane. Add to that the fact that it must be the shortest FPS in many a moon. I was stuck on one level for a few days but my overall time to complete the game on the hardest level was 6 hours. Utterly pathetic amount of content for a supposed AAA title.

Did you play the single player or multi-player? Hubby played multi at his weekend lan and says it rocks.

That might be the difference if you only played single player.

I for one wouldn't know. FPS make me dizzy and give me headaches so I don't play them.

I don't really play FPS online as there are so many cheats. This is one of the few games that I actually bought for the single player on the recommendation of others and I am sorry I listened to them. Sure the actual gameplay is solid in most respects but £25 for 6 hours gameplay is disgraceful.

you should really try the multi for just a bit mate, it really kicks ass :)

the single player campaign was short though =/

(although max payne 2 was shorter imo).

Still the best WWII shoot-em up I've tried yet, best atmosphere and all.

Just finished it. Have to agree with Gombur, best atmosphere among WW2 games. Has a few bad apples, like character scripting and world interaction, but on the other hand, AI is pretty good, and the gameplay rocks your trousers.

Really liked the bridge defense and location defense in Stalingrad, felt almost like the real thing. I had a save with 30% hp, 50 bullets left in the Mp40 (like it better than the Thompson), and zee germans were pouring from all over the place, grenades thrown at me, tank machinegun harrasing me.... Think I loaded the save 40 times before i could prevail. Better than MOHAA, for sure.

ah well, I liked it :)

yep, i got goosebumps when we stormed the red square

those guys in with their red flags running themselves into death

the storming of the reichstag was a bit of an anticlimax tho, since there were only 4 of us :)

hmm, I found it quite good really, despite the single player having its good and bad stages. and multiplayer does rock :)
