Absolute zero is not where molecular activity ceases, but where molecules and atoms are all in their lowest energy state (and the system has the least amount of kinetic energy possible).
In bose-einstein condensates this leads to superatoms (where every atom in the system appears to act as one giant atom) and other fun things.
