Bookable SOF Servers are now available

As most of you may have seen the BarrysWorld SOF servers are now configured for suitable community play.

You will also notice that 2 of these servers have been set up as Bookable servers for clans/groups to use for private practices and matches and are NOW added to the bookable server system.
In order to take advantage of this service you first need to go along and register your self/clan HERE and then visit the BarrysWorld bookable pages HERE
As an added bonus, those that are familiar with the BW bookable system will know that at the time of booking your slot you also get the option to select the mod (e.g DM, CTF, Arsenal etc), the server player & spectator password and also your choice of rcon password in order that clans can have their own rcon access to the server during their time on there.

I am sure you'll agree that this service is a major plus for the clans that cannot yet afford their own server rental and I for one would like to thank BW again for the positive show of support for the community.

The guys are doing mucho work to server IPs and stuff and have being very busy throughout the day, SOF servers will be added to the bookable diaries at some point during today if all goes well.

Terrible!!!

I booked a server for a match last night 14/10/2001 @ 10:00pm
against -DARK- and da server was NOT GOOD!. There was lag n packet loss galore [BrZ]Slayers normal ping to J0!t is 40, last nit his ping was about 110 an mine although 38 was no betta to play on. Dere ahs gotta be sumpn up wit em cos when I play on da BW public servers I neva get any of da symptoms dat We were getting wit BW SoF Bookable (01) server. Please look into it
cos it totally spoiled our friendly match an what made it worse was I switched da match from our own server in da states cos I thought it would be a betta playing experience, WRONG! Our server played betta even though its in Atlanta, USA.

Yeah, I was serioulsy hindered in this server..... I just broke in to double figure scoring in each match last night...... Not good
I'll be keeping my eye on the Barry's World Servers and hopefully seeing improvements .......
