I don't think a wall hack really makes that much difference...an aim bot would be much worse

Won't make much difference once I've run them over in my Buggy :)

Oh so all that vegetation and other scenery that you can hide behind visually is useless anyway ?

A wallhack makes a world of difference to this game. Chuck a grenade around a corner or over a rise where you can see a player is that you wouldn't normally know of. Ditto with waiting for them to come around the corner, shot lined up, trigger-finger ready.

But, yes, duh, an aimbot WOULD be much worse.

To get back on topic ...

... cunting Fileplanet ...

... First it seems to hit the normal bug where it doesn't like my linux+firefox setup, being convinced I'm not logged into it. But then it turns out I am logged in, so let's try again, and catch the URL part way through refreshes to make my own URL that works... except now hitting the download links results in Fileplanet being convinced the file doesn't exist (note this isn't my hacked URL, just the normal one).

So, anyone got a mirror for that file?

I should also point out that if a person has a aimbot its likely they will also have a number of other cheats.

Well I haven't really noticed a substantial amount of people using it...and how often would those situations apply? From the times I've played, not often, if at all.

How would you know anyway ;) ?

In BF:V there were a number of sneaky sniper positions I often used deep within the vegetation, on some maps I could sit there all game and never be seen unless someone specifically knew.

Ok well as none of you have obviously seen this wall hack I better explain it in more detail.

Its a wall hack + skin hack turns all the friendly troops bright green all the enemy bright red. You can see them through anything i.e. hills, buildings, although assume not other people. Dont exactly need a aimbot when you got this great big blob to aim at instead :/ Now say that that is not just a little bit unfair...

Never will understand why people hack in games wish someone would do a study on it to understand the psychology behind it, and see if the same assholes all so have tendancy to other deviant behaviour.

Thanks Jingles. The video is kind of cool, I'd not bothered with that type of mucking around yet, but the video shows you can REALLY propel a vehicle with FF off using the C4 (looked like some packed in the back too and it being set off in sequence to give multiple boosts).

The scene with the USMC jets hovering at a building and a couple of guys hopping on/across the wings is cool too.
