Who really cares if one guild has a similar name? Thats my point.

There are loads of guilds with the name dragon in eg. Red Dragons, Red Dragon, Red Dragons of Wrath (just do a search on duskwave and you'll see 15 of them).

But noooo lets put up a post for each one whining about how they all copied each other! Rofl stop whining!!! I'm sure some people make a life of whining on this boards :p

Black dragon have some nice guys in it; that's all that matters to me.

I doubt they checked for a duplicate name, as TBH i haven't heard of your mid guild either, I think it's more of a coincidence than anything (let's face it neither name is terribly original).

I prefered the name of miss and motor's earlier breakaway guild though, Lucky Strike, that was a nice name imo (but my names are always terribly cliche'd so what would I know :p )

/Anyway out of the 2 real RvR only guilds we have (LA and BD) I prefer BD, they invited me into guild groups from thier 1st day almost, I have yet to be in a LA group. (VNG are a RvR guild, but Tyka and the lads also do a lot of non-rRvR stuff, help on dragon/legion/worm raids etc,help people up to 50, help people on thier epics etc. - they also invite me into their groups regularly, which is always fun, a bit like an old Fianna get together sometimes - guys consider remerging back with Fianna; we love you all, miss you loads :p)

You mean Black Dragon, the guild that zergs odin's in 3fg and still in all the times i seen them ain't attempted a decent keep take ^^. Instead of zerging about like headless fannies try to take bled or nott sometime it makes life much mroe fun for all.

guilds in DAoC are all mostly fluff anyway

Why worry about this? In a week or so all the members will get into a fight and break up to form 4 new splinter-guilds!

I cant believe how weak and exclusive so many of the guilds are in this game...

No commitment to large projects...no help for new members and formal planning, etc.

I played EQ for 3 years and guild I was in killed dragons regularly, had specific recruitment plans/rules, regular outfitting and XP hunts for members of all levels/classes, and worked hard to foster cooperation and freindship over a large membership (about 50-80 people usually)

There are a few exceptions i hope to see form a good strong alliance in a few more more months, but now it is just kinda pathetic for the most part.

Get with it and think TEAM folks.

RVR guilds are TEAMS in the truest sense.They spend all there time togther fighting,dieing,learning. If there aint full they will inv other ppl im sure to there groups but guild comes 1st(loyalty). They should rez if they see you . Ppl moan that RVR guilds are selfish etc but 95% of ppl in rvr guilds hate xp so by making them xp who is being selfish?

im going to start a new guild called celtic fits, a bunch of people that throw - well - fits at random issues and are a general pain in the ass.

Eternal Warriors deleted itself and just 1 month later it got recreated and some goof's in Alb or something took it so now there is an Eternal Warrior running around in Hib instead :p

This is nothing new ;)

I'm going to make "Arbeiderpartiet" with my character "Stolt Jensenberg" and if someone snatched that one I'm gonna cry like a baby who just got his candy stolen :eek:
