anti-spoiler??

So i've been watching TotalBiscuit's SC2 videos on youtube for quite a while now, and in every single one there is one "popular" comment at the top that consists of the phrase "anti-spoiler" or "spoiler alert" and nothing else..


I've tried finding out but i've never found any explanation to it...

So why are people writing that?

They are writing it because people post spoilers, telling you who won. The anti-spoiler posts push the spoiler-posts down so you don't accidentally read them.
