A reminder that gamespot has a developer diary video with some more commentaries, more or less like the IGN but shows off more art etc.

Also Conan wants you to know that his december monthly newsletter was out on friday: Clan of Conan #3

They promised more juicy information that goes more in-depth into game mechanics and also hopefully some proper class introductions! In the new year that is, so stick along for this!

i did watch it tho. but it doesent really have any influence about me trying it or not. age of conan just looks more intresting. i'm sure warhammer will be a fun game but i cant subscribe to every MMO that gets released

Atleast you get to try Age of Conan abit before WAR comes out, since both seem to be worth trying.

I plan to have something going, if enough are interested we can build Pve towns and battlekeeps and such. No doubt this game will apply to daoc'ers as it's philosophy about seperate pvp and pve is the same.

No, not yet. Signups are rumoured to start this month, but don't count on any beta for a few months

A small update here about the humble start of beta: http://forums.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=21821

So for a selected few they can start testing the technical bit already this month. But that part won't be fun and games since the server most likely will be up sporadically for technical tuning.

We will wait and see who gets to play, otherwise everyone get to play the 30th of October this year

why do you trust the videos to show the *complete* game?

Yeah, it's a MMORPG alright, but they like to call it a Massively Multiplayer Online Action Role Playing Game (MMOARPG). Trust me, it will be a true MMO with emphasis on combat.
Yes! I am planning to re-read the shortstories aswell (did the same a year ago)

On the main website it used to be Age of Conan MMORPG now its just Age of Conan MMOG.
