Its no point flaming NP or envenom2 (aucard) and the rest of the twats that play this game.

Why ?
well stop and think why they r playing this game.
Its not like the rest of us that want to enjoy a couple of hours gaming with friends etc.
Why ?
Well they have no friends, Not here and not IRL.
So stop trying to make them feel ashamed. They dont have the capability (sp) to feel some emotions.

They dont have any pride, cant feel compassion, Dont know the meaning of standing up for principles.

They r angry about many things and want the rest of the world to feel as they do. Hurt, angry childish etc etc.

So they play games and main priority is to make peeps angry,frustrated. Every single mmorpg is the same. U c them in UO and u c them here. Some times they meet and think "wow he is as cool as i am" and forming guilds etc etc.
Then they cheer themself on and make themself feel better.

I played for many years and met alot of them. They all basically the same. If u meet a char that seems never to have any logic thinking u r almost certain there is a griefer. Like envenom2.
U cant even count them times he had me going "hmmm what ?"
Just read some posts here and u will c.

When it comes down to discuss with them there is no point.
There was a guy thats much smarter then me that said.

That really sums it up. Dont argue with them. U cant beat them. Why ? they dont play with the same mental lvl we do.

AND i think they should play games. Why ? well here we can easily put them on /ignore and EVERY SEC they play this game means some RL peeps dont actually have to meet them IRL !!!!
Think about it. in this game we really dont have to actually c them running around being stupid and annoying.

BUT KEEP POSTING WHEN THEY FECK UP AND DO STUPID THINGS !!

Well first its good get the topic of your chest, AND if we do it several times maybe, MAYBE there will learn someday that they r acting in a stupid way. They will (hopefully) grow up and learn about social life.

I read 1 thread where to person thought it was sick to have a memorial in game. Well i think there r real players that need to have compassions and sorrow togheter. INGAME and IRL.

To bring in RL issues like "your mother is ugly, or go feck your Sister" and IRL threats "i will seek u up and kill u" shouldnt b in a forum.

OR what do u think ?

1. i work like anyother working person im a manager.
2. i have many friends i was once in the Army and still have many friends i keep in contact from there.
3. i go out clubbing etc going out with friends etc.

so tell me this enechanter how is my rl different to anyone elses? u know nothing about me only how i play the game and il state a few facts about how i play the game.

Sure, sure there are similarities to some degree but one of the main reasons to do anything on the internet is because of the freedom - that you can behave anyway you want which you cannot do irl.
Compare the number of times you use swearwords/curses against ppl you don't really know on the internet and then compare against the number of times you use such words against ppl your don't really know irl.

To clarify for you -
The person giving the threat has no idea who the hell they are talking to. For all the said person knows the guy he's threatning could be a serial killer. (unlikely I know but how would he know?) IMO to threat someone online is like pissing in the wind, water off a ducks back etc. However if it became more serious I would have no prob reporting it to the police.

Personally, yes, I do act the same apart from one exception -

Most the things I say on the internet I would never say in RL for the simple fact that im too shy/less confident. This is proberbly down to the fact that I can't see the other person behind the screen and tend not to think of that when I start typing.

As for myself, it's pretty hard to keep my RL self totally out of the game. I like having conversations about silly things, I like telling jokes and most of all considor myself a cheerfull person, much of that shines through in my way of playing DAoC. But that doesn't mean I won't gank a grey in a frontier, just because I don't hit on people smaller than myself IRL. It doesn't stop me from whining over a death, eventho IRL I don't bother about the "little details", and so on.

Personally, I play games to have FUN, others play to get A KICK and hell, some may even do it TO ANNOY. Does that mean that all they do IRL is try either to have fun, get a kick, or annoy someone else? No.

I guess most use games as some sort of way to escape RL, and act in a way that probably is somewhat far from how they act in RL, they pick their role and stick to it. You may not like their role, but that's excactly why they pick it, to annoy you.

enechanter from the response this post has had i think you were wrong about what u said i act how i do ingame because i dont do it in rl? as said before i like playing the bad guy in any online game why? because its fun.

ps you know the only reason i ever joined an rvr group in hib was to get to emain lol when i got to crim i usualy disbanded but after a few weeks i had my bard eminemshow buffer and taxi for me.
I soloed most of my rps sometimes id team up with gavon or dexa and rake in the rps.
I think that most of the ppl ive played with would say im a pretty decent guy i keep myself to myself and just play.the only time il ever be a twat to someone is if they are a twat to me nuff said

Well...tbh.. i do act the same ingame as in real life and i think a lot of people are like that.

But... as been said before... i think it's not right to judge other people's playstyle especially since this IS a roleplaying game and people are suppose to play it they way they want to play it. I think someone who really wants to kick ass in RPS or Leveling is usually less patient (maybe even less friendly in some cases) then someone who is just playing for pure fun. So if u meet someone who does not fit u... just don't group with them or hang out/talk to them. Basically the same as IRL i think.

However above mentioned does NOT justify the fact that some people choose to behave badly after the memorial. This is not a matter of playstyle i think, that was a matter of respect for a PERSON. Not even a DAOC-player but a PERSON.

I bet the people who behaved like that wouldn't like it so much either if they would hold a memorial for a IRL friend of them that passed away and that this memorial ended with people slapping eachother or something.

Maybe some people who held/joined the memorial would even have been gone to the one IRL if they knew more about him but they didn't. So this was their way of showing their mourning and that should have been respected by everyone imho. No matter what playstyle u have...

Did i say NP and Envenom dont have fun ingame ? That all they do is grief ? And being twats ? No. I said they enjoy doing it. They enjoy making people annoyed and frustrated. They even admitts it.

Hmm this is hard becasue i never tought about it that way.
I dont play to escape RL. I have a great RL Its just that Gaming is part of my RL.
IF U play games to escape RL isnt that the same as drinking and using drugs to evade/forget life ?
But u maybe have a point here, U saying this guys have sooo baaaad RL they need to come into game and release some frustration ? Well Envenom was little into it when saying if he didnt do this he b out beheading people (or something dont remeber)
The last sentence u post in qoute is really what i been saying all along ? they just do it to annoy peeps ? ISNT that being a TWAT ?? (i maybe have the wrong understanding of the word twat dunno...)
