Well someone on here might know.
I saw a movie about 10 years ago, on BBC2. It was in a feature, that was weekly and showed cult/B movie classics.
General plot of the movie:
Everyone dies, except 3 or 4 people.
Over the course of the movie you find out they all died at the second that everyone else died from whatever happened to the universe. One person was electricute by there hairdryer (female), one person took an overdose, one person was being drown in a fight. Eventually they end up at a lab on the top of a hill. Where the scientist of them, finds out that the constants of the universe have changed. It was a really good film, if i remember correctly. I've just never been able to track down its title.
