A long time ago someone once told me how to bind a key to "zoom" in Q2.

Several formats, (and a lot of sauce) later and I cannot remember

can someone jog me memory pleaz....

indeedy my good sir...

//Sniper Zoom
alias +sniper "fov 30; sensitivity 3"
alias -sniper "fov 100; sensitivity 6"
bind mouse3 +sniper

that in my config does the job just nice.. you may wish to change the second FOV figure to your normal fov (90 default) and the sensitivity on the second figure to your normal sensitivity (i use 6 normally)
The top alias line is the zoom in. Also you can stick the button of your choice in there, i use Mouse 3.
Rarely use zoom these days though :/

u want a bind to zoom in q2:
i cant tell u which fov and sensitivity to use but i can show u how then u can replace fov and sensitivity to what u want ur self.

alias +sniper "fov 30;sensitivity 0.5"
alias -sniper "fov 110;sensitivity 2"
bind space "+sniper"

u can just copy/paste that to ur cfg file and then u will zoom every time u press space )
