zerk ra's, Trip?

want to know what ras u think i should take, i will atleast take pf det5 and purge. was wondering if the ra's trip/grapple are any good.

det 5 aint worth it, just keep it at 4.

and there are other RAs that would be much more useful, such as DR and MoPain and such, trip and grapple arent really worth it because you will seldom use them, since mids have instant CC, grabble and trip arent worth the points.

Oh and as for trip well, if your shammys doing his job proper youll fire trip and get 4-5 immunity timer messages.

I seem to recall a thread on VN boards where someone tried grapple and found that Determination works on it, lasted something like 9 seconds on det4 iirc. So a waste of 14 realmpoints imo.

edit: trip is affected by Determination aswell.

det5 definitely worth it
det4 is a must, you cant argue about it, so forget that 12 (?) points you spent there
for 10 additional points you get 60% -> 75% cc reduction; so by going from det4 to det5 mezz/root duration will drop by 37.5% (det4 is a must, i said it, it's no brain) for 10 points

Trip is realm ability. It cost 10 points and has 15 min reusing timer. It pbaoe 30% snare.
