I have been up most of the night thinking about this game, and have come to the following decisions.

1. This game does not involve skill at all, its all about who has the bigger force Zerging etc etc.

2. There is no real individual skill unless you play a stealth class and then with see hidden etc etc, its still pot luck

3. You really need to group, without grouping you are as good as dead.

4. Its not like a normal computer game where its about hand eye cordination etc etc or skill with mouse etc its just chance.

5. As being a mid its no big deal to lvl your character, just sit in Malm and keep raping ww all day no real skill involved.

6. The game is repetitive

Other than the above, I will still play the game as I have fun from it, I cant see the idea of Duels working as someone is sure to be an idiot, but hopefully with the forthcoming PvP server things will get more exciting.

Maybe the above is total crap, but its just how i feel at the moment, maybe I have drank too much and am loosing the plot.

with the use of superiour tactics u can take down forces that outnumber u without any real problems - only problem is that it´s hard to get ppl together who will use tactics instead of zerging.

u can try to gather a grp, then roam the frontiers - away from the big zergs, just pick on the ppl who go to reinforce the zergs or who have gotten lost from it. Doing this can be extremely fun and rewarding.

we had a small grp of 1 minstrel, 2 x paladin and a cleric once where we took out small grp´s of hibs in gorge - even took out 2 FG´s of hibs (green - yellow con), one after the other. Now thats fun like little else - try it and u´ll find out theres a lot more to the game than just zerging )

There is skill involved, thats why I die 50X more than any other bard in the world, cos I am crap I dont know rvr tactics yet, so usually end up running at big groups trying to mez them

And other games with Hand-Eye coordination? You mean the FPS games people use Aimbots to play ?

lol yer I used to play Cs for some of the Top UK clans. but gave it up because of cheats, just now play now and again for a bit of fun.

Then I played Jumpgate a space sim which was good just that I got a little boared of that.

Now its DAOC that takes my time, ohh and I dont go zerging round Emain most of my time is now spent in Odins defending the gates from pesky Albs.

I do understand what you say about tactice with a small group, but you really all got to be a close nit group who know what your doing, eg what to hit what not to hit eg mezz etc.

Im not saying im any RvR expert in fact i would go as far as to say im crap, thats maybe why i find this bigger force zerg thing a bit boring.

I look forward to PvP but I expect that will be, biggest guild wins
