Zerg?

Ok call me a noob, as i am lol
I have only started DAoC and i keep hering the word zerg, what does it mean exacly?

Instead of a million people giving a lame answer let's just tell him.
It's when you get killed by ALOT of enemys, like 30+ people.
The amount of people that is needed to count as a zerg may differ in other peoples opinions.
That is when you get "zerged" by the "zerg"

It's when your full group trying to have a fun time in emain/odin's/hadrian's or whatever... and then you meet so many enemies that you don't even got time to scream INC before you need to type /release.

When you are outnumbered big time.

Seriously, its a large force of enemies, usually severely out numbering the opposing force. As Alb has always had the majority of players, they use it the most. Unfortunately, its also the only way they can fight.

Actually the race is called Zerg but that had these units called Zerglings, weak but cheap and u got 2 for the price of 1

They also had units called Overlord (made it possible to get more units at a time) so thats prolly why u hear the word Overlord combined with Zoyster or Outlaw

DAOC needs it's own 'zerg' term.

I nominate 'Tin Hatted'

Then future gamers will say 'where did 'tin hatted' come from?

And they can answer it came from DAOC and old game where all the plate wearing albs would zerg all day .

Zerg = your fg got killed by 2 fg or more hense the higher numbers are called a zerg.

LoL u guys ever gonna drop this alb and zerging thing? The fact is every realm zergs from time to time like lately it was about 4fg that came when GoL were battling a fg and had just won.....

The formula of zerg is quite easy:

Zerg = (Enemies/ 2) - 1 = Defenders


By this formula:

To a soloer: 3 ppl are a zerg
To a fg : 17 ppl are a zerg
To 2 fg: 33 ppl are a zerg
etc...

Zerg comes from Star Craft

I zerg, you zerg, we all zerg.
