Zelda Compass.

I don't know if it's the same for everyone but..

When I am in the sea and facing north-west (as indicated by the sea chart) my compass tells me I am facing north-east.

What the hell is that all about?

It's the same with south-west, north-west... etc.

The compass appears not to know it's east from it's west.

Can anyone shed light on this?

took me a while to work it out

I THINK I got it now ---- the red needle always points northwards, not the direction you are going.

Therefore when you head NE the red arrow will point up and left as thats where north is.

It is rather a pain !
