Zavvi, shit for delivery

Ordered a game from them last Monday dispatched Tuesday standard delivery whatever that means, still hasn't fucking turned up shopto posted my Halo 4 LE edition to me Saturday and its turned up before Zavvi.

I've seen various posts over the years about zavvi being shit, my first order with them and will be my last.

Pretty much, f*ck dmr discussions, or saving 3 bucks, or 10...i just like that i click twice and i got a game.

Although i hated steam at first, but the UI is designed by a coder

Not had a happy experience with Play.com

Ordered 4 items. 3 arrived. One still missing. Trying to get a refund under their *ahem* "Fair Play" [lol] Guarantee is like getting blood from a stone. Won't order from them again. Sticking with Amazon.

Play are shite now everyone has heard of them and they are busy. When they were a start up they were very quick indeed.

This pretty much, what I can't get with steam I use reputable sites like www.play.com or www.amazon.co.uk

That said it is nearing xmas so I half expect the majority of deliveries to be slower than usual

I think thats why you are seeing sites like Simplygames start up, that sale games, with Steam codes alot cheaper than Steam. Picked up Darkness 2 from them for 4.99 when it was 11.99 or something in the Steam Halloween sale

Zavvi are like play standard is 2nd class delivery = 3 to 5 days through Royal Mail. Amazon are the same if you don't pay for next day. You get what you pay for.
