Having downloaded Action Half Lifes latest installment i'm having trouble getting anything started

All i get everytime i try to start a game is

have you got all the updates for starters?

Usually when playing CS it also has in the Line, something like "Differs from Servers"

nope my updates are fine, it just keeps doing that, then it crashes half-life grrrrrr

When you installed action halflife did you have any virus programs enabled ??
