Ive been doing alot of 10hr+ shifts at Mc Donalds lately, and that aint easy as you never get a minutes rest, but i was wondering, whats the longest shift you have ever worked at once, and what job was it ;)

hah, Mc Donalds is ace, it isnt just the typical townie theory of flipping burgers, as Ive never flipped one :p. Its about the laughs we have :p. It becomes difficult when u get knobs ordering 'special' food because they r freaks. But anyway, u didnt answer my question :'(

Edit: 'he has to calculate the amount of change has has to give the customer'

bad English :p

stop with the spelling corrections already, it's almost as bad as those 2 Star Trek nerds in this south-park episode who start hitting eachother <shiver>.
nothing personal though :fluffle:

English, when I worked there, I could make my own food for breaks. Best burger ever is: Big Mac bun, 2 Quarterpounder burgers. mac sauce on each + lettuce, Qpounder onions, a slice of cheese in each big. It was the daddy. you can also make a nice one by making mcchicken premier but with bigmac sauce not the normal stuff.
God I wish they sold mac sauce in supermarkets.<drool>

I've done 12 hours for 7 days in a row at best when I was working in the opera. Too much for my lazy hide.

I do monday to thursday 6pm-6am every week and often do sundays also because of double rate pay. My sister is the real nut though. She worked for 6 months doing same shift as I am doing now with just one days break every fortnight. It's against the law so don't know why her agency let her do it but she literally didn't have a life because she was dedicated to getting cash together for uni. Weirdo imo

Over the summer I worked 9-5:30 in an office then 6-midnight in a pub 5 days a week, then just pub at weekends. So that's about 14:30hr-15hr a day.

I didn't sleep, it was sucky.

When i used to be a security supervisor i was doing at least 170 hours every 2 weeks. works out about 12+ hour shifts a day. But, when you consider i was getting at least 1 or if i was lucky 2 days off a week that bumps it up a bit. Sometimes i was doing 15-17 hours a day, well, night..hours were 7pm til 7am...then as usual i always got called in a couple of hours early to go to somewhere in the back end of beyond. And, you could guarantee that i would be called out within half an hour of me knocking off to go home...add on at least 2 hours for that too. )o: ...stuck that for a few years before i realised my life was wizzing by and i was missing out (before DAoC came onto the scene ((o: ). Now, i still work nights but more sensible hours...only 40 per week =more time for game, :drink: and :wij: ..prolly in that order too (o:
