In the coming month a new site will be on launch. The site will have the largest database of Quake 2 players in the online community. It will contain their information, clan information and just basically an encyclopedia of Quake 2 players.

This site will be useful for new clans, or old ones to spot u. If they are looking for a player they can just come to this site, and they can easily contact any player, as each player will have its own profile.

Clans can also be featured on this site as well. Their information, contact and homepage can also be a source of information.

So are you gonna do a submission form to make it easier for people to both submit and edit their profile as situations change? Otherwise you info is gonna be out of date within a month or so.

tbh things like this have been tried before but you still cant beat meeting up with someone on a server and recruiting them.

Ermm... if he thinks that dtank could be better why doesn't he make some suggestions to Rathga? I'm sure he would be pleased for the feedback about the site...

I know that I have some very tough competition from the dtank, but im sure that rathga started off like me, with only a few people on his site.

Couple of months later, his site probably got much bigger, and better.

All i say is that My site will be easier to navigate and search for players. It will contain the most comprehensive profile on each player, plus all their info, and their contact. It will also have a form so u can submit your personal profile as well.

Will everyone stop going on about dtank? Im not saying that it is crap, im saying why not give new things a go. Theres no harm, im not exactly making money from it, just doing it for fun, and answering some of the needs of q2 players.
