your 1st rvr kill , can ya remember it ?

another thread on ya daoc past can you remember the 1st time you got your 1st solo kill in rvr ? maybe ya remember there name/class/where ? etc etc .. just wodering if its one of the daoc stuff u wont forget


mine was when i was playing my baby scout (Lsd) i was lvl26 at the time and i didnt know my way around hadrians wall but somehow by just wandering around for HOURS stealthed (fook it was slow) i finnally managed to find Hadirnas after alking around for a bit i found MMG and in the trees to theleft near the bumps was 4 mids ,, 2 blue con 1 yellow and 1 orange con (looking back fuck knows why they where there , or me for that matter) anyways back then scouts ere classes as uber ,, so i lined up a good distance away and took aim at a blue dorf, killed him in 3 arrows ,, they didnty see where i was cos they didnt /face and it was a case of running around like headless chickens trying see me (behind tree) ... so i stealthed again and took aim at a nors , and same thing killed him , but yellow than saw me and attacked, i managed spirnt and stealth ,

so i had to find a different attack point anyways i took aim at yellow nors thane (didnt know what class he was back then but do now looking back) , anyways i shot the fooker twice and he wasnt dead and had managed to run in range of me to do his dd's which kept interupting my shooting to finish him, realising i wasnt gonna get my arrows off i had to run at him to try finish him in melee , which i did just by the skin of my teeth ,, at 1st i didnt know there was a 4th mid (hunter) he was orange con to me and had REALLY bad stealth , so i somehow found him aimed my bow andfired to arrows and he was very low on hp ,, he came at me with melee and we had to melee to the death , again i survived by the skin of my teeth im suprised the bleed effect ihad didnt kill me back then , anyways that was my 1st rvr kill solo ,, and i felt like i was some sort of uber god or summink at what i id looking back now though i realise it was just them as newbs not using /face or engage but at the time so early in my doac life it got me HOOKED on rvr

Was near Dagda in the treeline, killed Xero the ranger who was then blue (I was 46 IIRC) while he exp'd, then some green ranger I'd overlooked started plinking away at my weakened self... was on the way to killing him too when an already then lvl50 Motorhead came by and stomped me into ickle highlander chunks. ;(

I was lvl 28, target was a red elf caster - name was something or other beginning with A. At the first clump of trees just N beyond the amg in emain.

Stun smite smite smite smite.

Helped a lot that when the stun wore off, the elf thought it would be able to cast through interrupts.

This of course, was back when level 28s weren't bitchslapped back to Ludlow (yeah, no CS bindstone for joo) the second they stepped outside the pk by roaming fgs of level 50s.

First Full Solo no interfernce was me fighting Hurburl the L50 thane at amg Emain , no 1 was there and he DDed me and got a nuke off then i mezzed then peted him, well after a few nukes he was eating dirt

As had become my tradition, every Sunday I would trek up to Yggdra and camp for a few hours.

The first day I actually found my way there, after a few minutes along came an orange con Norseman, whos name I can't remember. Anyways, from high above on the hill side I opened fire, he ran in circles for a bit, then charged, and fell dead at my feet.

I remember my heart pounding like mad, a feeling I only get nowadays if I solo a buffed assasin, or two enemies.

cant remember exactly my first, but one of my first was with my rm , was around lvl 40 out in emain , saw some alb fighting mids, and i spammed ae spears until a red con highlander died

Ocond was lvl 23 and we got the word that there was a possible relic raid force mounting in the Sauvage Forest. Me and Galidien (who was 34) rushed with others towards excal.

As we reached the tower, halfway there were dead bodies everywhere, from dwarfs to norsemen. I remember first seeing the message in my window [he is a member of an enemy realm!] was quite stange.

Then an orange dwarf jumped out at me, I can remember getting him to 20% health then an alb grp came storming past and finished him off, so not quite a solo kill, but was my first RvR encounter.

Heart racing, adrenaline pumping non stop fun!

Can't remember really, but my first truely memorable fight was walking around emain alone at around level 45 or 46, I just passed amg and the alb zerg had ran off and I was trying to run behind without success of cause. Walking through the trees and tapping F8 I suddenly picked up an orange con celt, thinking I was spotted I ran up the hill out of the trees so I could at least see what I was facing, nothing came out though, and it turns out the shape of the bush the celt was hiding behind had left him blind to me but I could see him, so having nothing to lose I ran in and solo'd him for a nice 1026 rps, I later found out he was a blademaster so the victory wasn't quite as grand as I thought but it was my most memorable one on one kill of the early days and he was higher level then me so it felt good still

Think it was just outisde ATK in emain, might of been a stealther, i couldent of been much higher than lvl35, I remember totally owning this dude somehow, he mustve been similar lvl to me. ahh the joy of emain not being full of fgs of lvl50s

he basically pretended i was kicking his ass and that he was running away, gifting me a kill on a purple-con assassin. Quality guy imo, very honorable. SBs wouldnt do that these days for a grey con ...understandably so, perhaps.

first timer i went to emain was with my guild ( Flemish Lions)
i think we all were lv 20+ so we are running to amg , suddenly we saw a purple ++++++ HUGE red dyed Troll (it was back in the days that there was maybe 10 lv 50 's in the 3 realms )

so we stopped , the troll waves , bows and sat down , so we all gather around him

after few min a few albs saw us and attacked the troll and he attacked us back , so we attacked him also , he died

still a sad story

lol, sure brings back some memories.
First RvR kill ever was with my inf back in late february/early mars last year. I had found a couple of maps on the internet and used them to navigate to the gorge where I found a ranger exping at some ants in a little valley near the BK. I was low 20 at the time and he were yellow to me, got my BS2 in won the fight. If I'm not misstaken his name was "Angrysquirrel" or something like it.
Thinking back that was really what made leveling to 50 worth while.

It was in Jamtland shortly after i turned 50, we were doing fg vs fg, but my entire group didn't see a hunter that was shooting at me, so i thought i'd take care of him myself, ran upto him with my hammer, few good whacks and he was almost dead he retreated, my group needed me so i did a couple of spread heals then the hunter started on me again, i timed it perfectly to do a smite on him did 2 others and he was dead

used to go to yggdra at level 18-25 in search of people around my level (pre-BGs, this was like last april ish) and I think my first kill was a thane norse who was blue to me - cant remember the name.

I was XP'ing im Yggdra and got a send from a guy who'd just been killed by a bunch of alb stealthers - was 24th level Dark SM at the time.

I found two of them and move round to flank em - blue con scouts shooting another mid - set pet on one and started nuking - they both turn to shoot at me tho it takes em seconds to spot me - my nukes/pet are interrupting one scout and my life drains keeping me alive while the other shoots - 1st one dies - repeat on second with pet chewing on him too.

I then move to find the others - get a Infi take a pop at me - qcast pbae mez but then - doh - pet hits the mezzed infi and frees him - back off while pet beats on him then nuke as he tries to run.

Great fun and massive adrenaline high!

first kill was on Us server Kay with my little keen ranger in yggy forest...

next time i took my pard (he played later as Zyrush 1 of the first earth wizz's on albion)
he was warden on kay .. and our first uber tactic's was .. i shoot and kill some1 and he would be hiding he big ugly firby body in some tree in yggy forest... then if i died he logged out .. waitet 5 min and logged back in and rezzed me ... repeat ...

Sometimes they found him and killed him when i was in stealth .. then i could hide in his large dead body and shoot very confused ppl from the dead firby body ...

i was playing my cabby at was on a guild keep take i was around lvl 44 ish.
i red con stealther PA'ed a friend of mine near the door and ran off i set my pet on him and followed.
so near the entrance to DC valley he stealthed and my pet caught him.
at first he started to fight my pet, so a dot'ed him and nuked.
then when he was low on health i decided to run at me and give me a go
when he got to me he was on about 10% his first hit took me down to 50% health, and a QC lifetap finished him off

I had just finished my lvl 40 Epic quest with Cupid and had that red polearm and was running solo from atk to amg (emain) and this shadowblade, orange con, PA's me and i panic and starts pressing 'Cribling blow' and, thanks to some lucky procs i maneged to bring him down then got steamrolled 2sec later but thats not the point

My heart was pumping like mad after that
