The Danes played a good first half, but suffered for only playing one striker. Laursen looked a bit suspect for the first time in the tournament in the second half and the Czechs took full advantage.

Denmark still contributed a lot to Euro 2004 and helped dump the overrated, overpaid Italians

Yeah it was kinda like Denmark expected the czechs to play as shit as they did in the first half. And with Sand missing was always going to be a tall order as turamber said.
