You do not meet he requirement to get this item

Sorry if this was asked before.

I sometimes get this message (You do not meet he requirement to get this item) and i don't understand why. It's usually an item from which i have already a couple of, so it's not that i am too low level or something. I also don't think my inventory is full.

Anyone knows?

some items you can only have one of at a time (denoted by the little 'ex' icon)

two-leaf mandragora bud, bloody robe, torn epistle etc etc to name but a few

if you get the message its either that or you inventory is full

When you're in a party and someone with a full inventory 'gets' an item, the entire party will get that message.
