The team name is Yankees, not Yankee. And learn english damnit! Barrysworld is improper grammer. Barry's World would be proper because it would show whose world it is. It's Barry's World. And WTF is with you using the phrase "the pond". Its a friggin ocean you ignorant sluts.

And you say im the one that needs to grow up. I'm not the one that still needs to learn proper grammer and still uses little kids phrases.

WHY IT SHOULD BE FRAGGED:
It's one of those gaming news sites that has absolutely no imagination, no opinionation, and no naked-chic-alization that seem to infect the net at an alarming rate. If we wanted to see "just the facts", we'd go to CNN's page, dammit! Plus it somehow got into second place on the 3DGN polls, probably by the author of the page (presumably 'barry') using his phat pipe o love (56K modem) to vote for himself repeadedly.

HOW IT SHOULD BE FRAGGED:
First we take his sorry-ass green site and span it over several 5-1/2" disks. Then, in order to clear the apparent blockage from his anal oriface (most likely a stick), we shove them up there, one by one, to see if we can't clear the passageway. If that doesn't work, then we'll have to start printing out some hard copys...

PCXL would like to point out that this frag was sent to us by a reader named Cal (a suspiciously Brittania-esque name, if you ask us) and does not necessarily represent our views toward Barrysworld. We actually like Barrysworld quite a bit and go there for all our information on new cricket games.

oh, and the author of barrysworld isnt barry. barry is a sprout. and barrysworld isnt run on a 56k connection, its got a bit more bandwidth than that. 20+ games servers? quite a bit of bandwith needed methinks.
as for PCXL magazine ( i refuse to use the word 'gaming' because it gives us, the gamers, a bad name.)i have several friend who used to read it and what i can hear, its about on the same level as 'womans own' or 'horse and pony'.

do us all a favour mckearny, go kill youself.

well, i dunno weather ive said this before ever, but the USA is a damn fine country and i intend to move there as asap.

What i have found out about americans is that they are nice, kind and friendly people, but there are exceptions, you. You dont seem to have a motive, and dont seem to have a life either, and i suppose many of the people here would agree. BW is a well organised site, with bloody good articles and damn fine stuff. Give us the url of the pxn whatever site it is you support and ill check it out, but i dont see the point in all this bullshit you say.

I explained to you earlier that Yank or Yankee is a slang word for an American. It is in common usage in the UK. Pay attention. We know little of your games. For all I know the Mets and Yankees could be synchronised swimming teams.

"the pond" is another slang term. If you don't know what slang is try the dictionary. I told you how to find one earlier. "the pond" could be taken as an example of the English sense humour - we know it's very big so we call it "the pond". It doesn't make us split our side laughing, but it's that whole British 'understated' thing.

I am all too aware that the Atlantic is an ocean. If it were a pond I imagine some of the less well disciplined people round here would have jumped across and done something terminal to your PC. This isn't a threat, merely a statement.

You don't seem to understand that we don't care about this poll. If you understood the sense of humour round here you'd realise that the big "VOTE" signs were a joke. We have better things to do than worry about this sort of crap.

how about a BW vs PCXL game is orgainsed, never mind this compo for play 3dgaming or whatever it is. then we'd really see whose got the skillz, and put an end to this petty mudslinging. yeah its not gonna happen but wtf.

what u dont seem to understand mckerney is that BarrysWorld isnt a dedicated gaming website. nor is it run by people who need to stir up contreversy in order to ensure their pay check at the end of the month, as pcxl seem to do. The services BW provide to gamers far outweigh those provided by all the gaming sites u could mention. they go out of their way to provide satisfaction to the thousands of ppl who descend upon BW servers every day.

so u see even if pcxl by some miracle actually wre a better website, it wouldnt matter to me at all. without BW i literally could not have played qw over the net over the last few months. your fighting a losing battle. the fact that u bothered to come on this board to abuse the hardworking entity that is BW shows that u r really worried. u cant stand the thought of your adopted site competing with a service run by ppl in their spare time. the fact is by stirring ppl up with your abusive and racist attitudes will if anything spur more ppl to vote for BW in the poll.

and im sure if BW doesnt get to play against the 'mite' of 3DGN. they wont be overly distressed. some of the barrysworld contributers are fairly hardcore players playing at the highest level. if they are anything like me then they'd get more of a kick from yet another memorable game on BW servers than some hyped-up publicity stunt game against a team from a _website_

I have a modem (would you have guessed) and it's called "56K Voice Modem" by windows, upon closer inspection i see it's made by LT (Lucient) so I gets me the new firmware and drivers, low and behold by modems now called, wait for it!, Lucient 56K winmodem

What's going on? Do I have a winmodem, or not? If I have, do I want to keep it!

(BTW, the newer drivers we're crap, only connecting at 31,200, old ones (now back on) connect at 50,666

Anyone know what’s going on?
