Yobs in Swindon

Had the misfortune to witness the end of a car window smashing sprea in Swindon a few nights ago. The buggers smashed 7 car windows (side windows) with prolly a hammer. They alternated as they went down the street so every car in between was untouched. I woke up and popped my head out of my window to see 2 lads who quickly ran around the corner into an alley. The thing is if I hadnt done that my car was next in line ....phew.

The old bill turned up the next day and said they had actually done 30 cars that night. There's a hostel at the top of our hill that looks after young offenders. 4 of them were held by the police after a neighbour spotted them entering the hostel shortly after. The crime in our area has escallated of late. Makes me want to move house.

I feel it's clearly the fault of the parents for giving birth to these hooligans in the first place.
