I dont have anything to hide and I am just aslikely to suffer identity fraud now as I will be when I get my ID card. The more technology we get our finger tips on the easier it becomes to commit crimes. However who would give up their computers if it a reduction in ID fraud? non of us because we are all selfish in our own way.

If we get ID cards they should go the whole hog and have a database with everyones DNA on it. think of how many crims we could catch then.

Did you read the article? You'll be even more likely to suffer ID fraud when the cards come out, that was the point of the article! Plus, they didn't even touch upon the fact that this is the British Government we're talking about trusting with our private data. Have you been paying attention to the news over the last few weeks? Mate you can find out my name via this forum and see that I come from newcastle look at my age you could probably find out where I live if you really wanted to, yes I read the article it and whereas you totally hate the idea I dont mind it at all. I have a shredder at home for all my mail to reduce the chance of ID fraud.
