...that the "to hit" modifier is gone? now that you can reliably defend yourself to at least some degree against the lvl 50 gank squads that come along etc... it'd take several greys i'd be guessing, but those purp cons will fall , if i can use my fairly weak snare DD to hit lvl 50 pole armsmen for around 150, and go over the 300 mark with pbaoe and hit every single time without resists even though i'm only lvl 36, then i'm quite sure that a full xp group would be able to give grief to the vast amount of invaders stalking the forest and upplands.

so if i go down to yggdra again, would i actually see people there? i stopped going because basically it was allways empty, was a shame too because i allways enjoyed the fun and games with the other lvl 25-35 people down there when i was lvl 32, was a nice colour range in the con's and it was a laugh chasing each other around yggdra when i nuke them from behind a tree

so will it be worth taking a trip down there for more fun and games? or just a wasted trip like most times recently?

i hope so, the snow crabs are great XPing mobs. always used to be a group or two up there killing crabs/giants/worms/etc, i went back a few weeks ago cause i was feeling nostalgic and what do i find?

one skald soloing and suddenly finding myself impaled on the end of a polearm, ouch

hehe, last time i saw the crabs i was almost instantly perfed, thought "bloody shadowblades ", until i saw the "briton myrmidon" title , figures.

No need for crabs, we have varulvhamn dungeon, it's much better, only people didn't realize that in the beginning. In the begnning it wasn't itemized either (but neither are snowcrabs).
Oh, and patch 1.50 made camp bonus in dungeons better too. So who needs frontier anyway.

Waste of time. You really expect people to try and xp out there with 100% chance of getting ganked?
whoppee a grey can hit a purple con, great, fantastic, he still ends up dead, 1/2bubb xp missing and 1hrs time wasted. The constant influx of the "I only kill greys to lure out the higher lvls" (yeah right, 99% of em run and hide anything remotely dangerous appears) bridgade have ruined it for themselves. Far better spots inside our borders now
