yesterday at odins..

Was that a failed relic attempt maybe?

2fg Albs at arvakr, 2fg albs at nottmoor, 3-4 fg i ran into in odins, 3-4 fg blocked at odins amg.

Fun i must admit, i enjoyed the scouting.

But u albs are a mere shadow of midgards greatness.
U shall succumb to our powerfullness.
We will rape and kill yer wifes, not nescessarily in that order.

U were scouted very early, and our response was fast and swift.
Not even nottmoor fell which had rams up on the doors.

And i must say the time was honourable indeed.

hmm....
no, it was just 2 guilds independantly going for a quick keeptake, actually. We thought we'd go for a challenge (i.e. claimed and upgraded Avakr instead of one of the easy jamtland ones) and got wiped. Tut @ Cutting Edge for defending other people's forts! that's just plain rude

HAHA ..... that evening in midgaard was so much fun.. here is the story from HB's side

Lets take some hib keeps..
Hib zerg reportet at amg in emain...
Gahhh.. ok lets go take arvakr...
bashing trough 1. door at arvakr few mids come and gets killed
on 2. door mids keep pouring in on arvakr 1 clr there made 4k+ rps in 15 min but we got swarmed in the end ...
so well we go back now for bleedmer..
while we wait for the last to port over to odins we gets some deaths spams and reports about 30 mids at amg odins ..
well well there is another guild here so we go amg to take the figth..

and then .. the most amazing mid zerg i have seen so long

my entier clipping plan was filled with mids.. when some of you guys went out of the clipping plan there was new 1. coming in on the other side ..

allthough we got steam rolled we kind of found it funny that there was a relic alert in mid. land

Fun i must admit, and it is comforting to se the response.

Good work, fellow midgardians, this is the response we want.
Strong and determined.

Even though it may have been a false alarm next may not be.

What triggered it was the mere numbers of albs invovled.
And the aparent syncronization of it.

I feel it is better to respond this way as we did then not respond at all.

It was also fun to see the albs GIVE up and log on the spot.
Good call.

Things are improving

As some of us noted, last night saw quite an increase in the number of Albion guilds forming up RvR groups and doing some determined raiding into Midgard. Losing a strength relic could well be the wake-up call that Albion needed.

We, Shadowlords Society, went for a run into Odin's Gate and found Bledmeer heavily defended. Instead, to lure out the defenders, we proceeded to Nottmoor and found the keep already under attack by Keepers of the Light(?). Naturally, we joined in and knocked down the first door and deployed a ram on the second, but the Mid charge stopped us in our tracks.

This was no relic raid attempt, but a taste of things to come. Expect to see regular encroachments into your frontier from now on, Midgard!

Yeah, I had fun. except for an exceptional lag spike which popped me right into the albs at arvakr and of course ended with me dead. Of course I went back from the other side and began repairing the inner door Thanks to all who came to help us defend arvakr =)

Nah was just a coincidence

We took 1 fg to knock on Nottsmoor, and bumped into Keepers of the Light. Was fun we had 1 door down and the other on 60% when the mid zerg arrived

For us it was a training mission for one of our lvl 30s who wanted to lead a raid. We hope he learnt something and of course we had fun too.

No relic attempt

What seems to have happened is that 4 or 5 guilds independently decided to go take a Mid keep or two. I know I decided to cos I figured you'd come out to play now as every keep take might be a relic raid. Worked a treat, never got to the keep but had great fun at amg in Odin's we were heavily out numbered (our party had 12 people at most) but we had a lot of fun and put up a damn good fight

´um will hate to spoil ur ego but blizzard defended avakr as it is our keep and thx all for helping

hehe, according to the mid numbers iam not suprised that they was smelling relicraid.

Err Splash and the Blizzard lads are probably your worst nightmare as an invader, m8. A group of hi levels (and FFS do some research on chronicles ) who will answer a call to arms to come and defend at the drop of a hat. But you ill get used to them I am sure...
