Yes i need to be nerfed

Unfortunately suffering from flu on new years eve and unable to sleep i decided to log on and OMG!!! alb had all our Mid keeps!

So i set out into our frontier to right some wrongs and discovered i was not alone \o/ a small force of mids was retaking keeps. Not feeling well i cba to run to the keep being retaken and probably miss its recapture so i arrived at Fens and discovered it was unclaimed and ATTACKED!!!. After wiping the guard pull i set about aided by my pets battering the door with my staff. My fellow Mids arrived 45mins later after i had killed several guard pops and had door 1 at 50%!!!, given a few more hours i could of taken it solo


So to all you BoneDancers we call solo take lvl 1 unclaimed keeps \o/ =)

Yeah sorry about that, we were busy taking all the hib keeps at the time. Never mind, we've done that now, and are on our way back.

1) Body Debuff

2) LifeDrain

3) BaseLine DirectDamage

erm..

4) /macro laugh /laugh

5) /macro Dismiss /Dismiss

6) /macro Bored /emote looks rather bored with proceedings.

7) /macro nails /emote yawns and inspects his nails

8) /macro rude /rude (only used when im MA'ed by 8 rr8+ inf's)

9) /macro Dance /Dance

acually he DID take the first door to 50%

i was chatting with him a while and it was at 50% with only him there when the rest of the "zerg" arrived

besides.. with paper doors even a caster can wear them down..

lol and what does anybody use?

assist macro, stick macro(or button), back pos, anytimer xDDDD

all classes are this easy, only difirence between a BD and other casters is, his main spell is instant, still takes the same amount of buttons and effort to press it

He got the door to 50%. I know this because I was one of the mids who eventually helped take the keep. And its true enough about a small amount of buttons needed to play the class effectively BUT as has been said, its hardly different from any other class in rvr. A few Macro's for assisting etc and ur main nukes/styles debuffs etc. Correct me if im wrong mind but thats the way i see it. The only "skill" required is knowing the best time's to press them but mostly common sense dictates this anyway.

I used speccDD, baseDD, aoeDD, 3 debuffs, stun, disease, pbae, nearsight... and prolly something i forgot now, its too damn early in the morning

Honestly man though, does that make it harder? You still can only do one thing at a time, so instead of being a bonedancer and pressing 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 woohoo i killed someone. Instead you press 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 woohoo i killed someone.

Point: Write this down folks, some of you forget it all the time....
This game has no skills except those of pressing the buttons in the right order at the right time. Some things which make the game what is would be considered skills by some, which are.. Teamwork, and Organisation.

On a scale this game probably takes...

25% Organisation (good buffs and sc xD), 24%(non MPC's [Monkey Played Characters]) Team work, 1% Button Pressing SKILLZZZ xD, and 50% luck wooohooo what a crit/evade/miss/fumble/block ect.. ect..

why the hell would i root someone when i have a pet bashing on him, im melee'ing with my stave and hitting him with lifedrain and baseline root sucks being cold based and easily resisted. Just shows how easy it is to play DAoC but not being very bright.

skill list:

1) Taking advantage of class imbalances (ie, playing the 'right', ie, above average or overpowered, classes/abilities/combos in a given situation)
2) Spellcrafted equipment / Alchemy
3) RAs
4) Buffbots
5) Radar (optional)

Its actually 4, ae str/con-debuff, ae d/q-debuff and single dex and str.

Well, there is skill in daoc. But as many says, we all know what buttons to press, the skill part is of, when and how fast you press them. Teamwork! But between your mind and fingers

Then its mcl, Forestheart Ambusher ra, quickcast, assist.
