If yellowstone goes off, it wont be just one state, it will put most of the US and Canada somewhere in a holding orbit above the North Pole

isn't yellowstone where yogi bear lives?

Lol - if only. At least if there was an eruption and it was at Jellystone it would kill Boo-Boo Bear, I always hated him for some unknown reason.

To put it into perspective (Geogarphy teacher voice lol) - genome mapping said 90% of our ancestors perished. Let's hope we're in the 10%.....

One gruesome fact was that a lot of creatures apparently died during the last eruption from drowning on their own blood - rocks were pulverised into micro-fragments and when they were inhaled they cut throats, mouths and eventually lungs from the inside. That's not a nice way to go imo. :(

to be fair 10% would still leave 650 million people, so by no means the end of the world.... would certianly solve overpopulation issues, and their would be no america win-win............. WIN

Well, if it happens, it happens and there ain't nothing you can do about it, so I'd say, convert part of the hallway to a filtration gateway, and stock up on fine particle filters to keep your home and breathing apparatus stocked for 10 years to come :p

Decent plan, it's the likely predicted 7-15 degree celsius temperature drop caused by the amount of shite that is pumped into the atmosphere blocking out sunlight that would be the problem. The last ice age saw a 4 degree drop. Well back into the ice age for us, and back to us needing walking food sources as the only way forward. I'm sharpening my spear already.
